WELCOME TO CUMBERLAND VALLEY ANIMAL HOSPITAL LONDON KENTUCKY .NET This page was last modified on Tuesday, August 19, 2008 07:02:21 PM ***Please call for an appointment.*** ***Our doctor may have to be out of the office or may leave after the last scheduled appointment.*** Dear Pet Owner,
Please remember that Kentucky is a year-round heartworm prevention state. If your pet is on heartworm prevention, it should be given every month even through the winter. Try the new Advantage Multi for your cat or dog. Their website currently has a rebate offer: http://advantagemulti.petparents.com/ Advantage Multi can be given to dogs for flea control and intestinal parasites without a prior heartworm test, but no heartworm guarrantee can be given. If given to a dog with adult heartworms, the adult heartworms will continue to grow and damage the heart causing congestive heart failure and eventual death. Only new heartworm infections are prevented with Advantage Multi. Some heartworm preventions can kill a dog with an adult heartworm infection. Talk to your veterinarian before beginning any heartworm prevention.
